A Letter to Potential Donors
Dear
Friends and Neighbors,
Fort Bend Friends and Neighbors
(FBFN) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to
advance the education of Fort Bend County students through our scholarship
program. In May the Foundation awarded scholarships to 11 students who will
attend college within Fort Bend County. Since 2005, 122 recipients have
received a total of $244,000 in scholarships. Many of our winners are the first
in their families to attend college. Their gratitude and record of academic
success are indicative of the quality of our program.
The Foundation relies on the support
of generous donors like you. Although our members contribute more than half of
the funds, we strive to provide ten scholarships each year, however, we can't
do it alone. Friends and businesses are needed to help us continue to help
deserving students.
Our major fundraiser is a silent
auction each year. We ask that you kindly consider supporting our event. There
are four ways you can help us raise scholarship funds:
- Donate one or more gift cards or gift certificates from
your own business;
- Donate one or more gift cards or certificates from
restaurants and local businesses you frequent;
- Donate a complete gift basket of a single high-value
item (e.g., signed professional sports jersey); or
- Donate cash directly to the FBFN Foundation.
All donations are tax-deductible and
will be acknowledged in the event program. Donor acknowledgement is
provided.

information, please contact Charlotte Guettner at [email protected]
Thank you for considering our
request, and for your passion in advancing the education of students in Fort
Bend County.
